What is an ARC?
An Advance Reader Copy (ARC) is a pre-publication version of a novel sent to readers before the official release date. In exchange for an honest review posted on release day (or shortly after), ARC readers get free early access to the book.
What is Beta Reading?
Beta readers receive a completed draft and provide detailed feedback on plot, pacing, character, worldbuilding, and overall reader experience. Beta reading happens earlier in the process than ARC reading and has a bigger influence on the final story.
